Ice Hunters
A quick character design exercise. I found a random character prompt generator and was given "someone from an icy climate" (or something close to that). I researched a few different designs I had in mind: Everest climbers, Inuit hunters, and a general "mountain man". I ended up liking two the most and did multiple passes on them, cleaning up their designs and eventually simplifying them as much as I could.
First set of rough designs. I had some other sketches but these were the most interesting to me.
I found the third guy a little plain in shape, so I decided to focus on the other two and clean up their shapes a bit.
Cleaned them up and emphasized their simple shapes even more, as if they were going to be animated.
