Nakubael Twitch Emotes
I was commissioned to create three emotes for a Twitch streamer: 'Sad', 'Oh', and 'Angery'. The emotes are caricatures of the streamer himself. I had a lot of fun with these, there are so many types of faces to make!

Early concept sketches to figure out a caricature style.
2 choices were made from those early sketches. For #1 I pushed line shape for the mouth, tongue, and eye shape.
For #2 I focused more on different mouth shapes and the head/face silhouette.
I had a clearer idea in my head for the "angery" face, so I pushed the design a lot.
The client picked 2 of the "angery" sketches and I worked on combining the two.
After the "angery" face was finalized, I worked on designing the "sad" emote. I also touched up the "OH" face outline so it matched more stylistically with the others.
Testing the emote's colors and white outline appearance against an example "dark mode" color of Twitch chat.
I came up with another twist for the "angery" emote, later unused.
